The website’s application code does not set cookies, use browser storage or load advertising or visitor-analytics services. There is no embedded social feed, map, video or booking widget. The page assets, including the portrait, are served from the website’s hosting.
Websupport provides the hosting. The hosting infrastructure may process technical information such as IP addresses, request times, requested pages, browser information and error records in access or security logs. Such processing supports delivery, troubleshooting and security of the website, based on the legitimate interest in operating a secure and reliable service under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
When you contact us
When you email or call, we process the contact details, organisation information and message or enquiry details you choose to provide. This is used to answer your enquiry, discuss a potential engagement or arrange a meeting. Please avoid sending sensitive personal data or confidential client information in an initial enquiry.
Where you request steps before a contract to which you would be a party, the basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. When you communicate on behalf of an organisation, the basis is our legitimate interest in handling business communications and developing relevant business relationships under Article 6(1)(f). Records required by law are processed under Article 6(1)(c).
Providing contact information is voluntary, but without a way to reply we may be unable to answer or arrange a conversation. This website does not add contacts to an automated marketing list.
Email, LinkedIn and scheduling
Email buttons open your email application. They do not submit an enquiry through a form on this website. Email and calendar communications are handled using Microsoft 365, with data processed in accordance with the relevant service arrangements.
A LinkedIn link opens LinkedIn, which operates under its own privacy policy. If an online scheduling link is offered, it opens a separate booking page; the scheduling provider processes the contact information, appointment details and any notes you submit there. Review the provider’s privacy information before entering data. No scheduling service is loaded merely by browsing this website.
Who can receive the data?
Access is limited to people who need the data to handle your request or operate the relevant service. Service providers may include Websupport for hosting and Microsoft for email and calendar services. Professional advisers or public authorities may receive data where needed for legal obligations or the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims. We do not sell enquiry data.
Some external service providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where such processing is used on our behalf, the applicable provider arrangements must include an appropriate transfer mechanism, such as an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses. Contact us for information about the arrangements relevant to your enquiry.
How long is information kept?
Enquiry and meeting correspondence is retained only while needed to respond, continue a relevant business discussion or administer an engagement. Information is reviewed when those purposes end. Longer retention may be necessary for contractual obligations, applicable record-keeping requirements, or the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
Technical-log retention depends on the hosting service’s configured retention and operational security needs. Contact us for information about the retention applicable to a particular category of information.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances and the applicable law, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of your personal data. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing. We do not use enquiry data for automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
